Science in my life
What is science to you?:
It should be truth, but often is smothered by bigotry, politics and ignorance.
I would invent:
A people reader-zapper which would read the conscience of everyone immediately zap them into meekness stopping them from doing evil and perhaps than we could rid the planet of War mongering, racism, religious intolerance and ignorance.
Technology I love:
Geothermal HVAC and Solar Shingles, no energy cost HVAC.
How do you use math in your daily life?:
I love statistics, especially sports statistics, and Like Bill James, I am constantly seeking new ways to evaluate athletes.
What technology do you use every day?:
Computers, autos, radio and very little TV, but we own hundreds of DVD's and VHS movies.
Technology that drives me crazy:
TV and cable and their commercials. How many people are stupid enough to pay to watch TV with commercials. In England and other nations Cable has NO Commercials. America is not in the top ten of the Planet for speed and cost for internet service. The Net in Japan and France is 12-30 times faster than ours and much cheaper.
