I'm from Minnesota, and just couldn't believe what happened. Unfortunately I was not able to visit New Orleans prior to the storm. :( I really wish I could have visited it.

Take care!

I was so nervous and scared that she may be hurt or even have died. When she came back to Minnesota were we live i was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!

P.S. I am at the Science Museum of Minnesota and I just got done watching a movie in the Omnietheater about Katrina!

It truly was such a sad event... many people were seperated from their families, hurt, or even died because of Katrina. I can't believe that something so devastating could happen! For everyone reading this that are survivors: I hope you and your family are okay now.

hurricane katrina left alot of people devastated including me and my family. we lost a beautiful home and my little cousin was very traumatized. i am very upset that the gvoernment isnt doing more. they should be doing everything in their power 2 get everything back on track. i dont think the government is prepared for another natural disaster like hurricane katrina. which makes me wonder how safe are we in america...... or in this world.
