Look what we found buried in the sandbox: ancient Egyptian tombs

Five months of digging through sand a meter deep has re-uncovered some ancient Egyptian tombs near the Pyramids of Giza. Egyptian archaeology officials are hoping to have the tombs open to the public yet this year and be one more reason for tourists to return to Egypt. Tourism has ebbed in the past year due to political turmoil in the country.
