Just in time for the Thanksgiving feast, researchers at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases say increasing per capita food supply and food waste since the mid-1970s is over-taxing the environment and impacting global climate change. The research appears in the online journal PLosONE.
